Shiok with all the sweet oysters in a deep fried batter!

Don’t let the location fool you -might be on top of a multi-storey carpark, but it’s worth the climb! This spacious zi char place serves up delicious Chinese food at super reasonable prices. No wonder they have photos of local celebs plastered outside – the food’s that good!

Must-Try Dishes:
Crispy Baby Squid: Forget soggy squid, this is the real deal! The batter is super shiok and crunchy, and the black sauce is confirm power (very flavorful).
Chilli Crab: This chilli crab is a bit different – I could have seriously drank the whole sauce it was so good! The crab itself was fresh and perfectly cooked.

Overall:
Great food, friendly staff, and a bit of old-school charm

Being a true-blue Singaporean, I’ve had my fair share of chilli crab, but this one takes the cake (or should I say, the mantao?). The sauce is so rich and flavorful, the crab is fresh and juicy, and everything just explodes with shiokness in your mouth! No wonder tourists get brought here all the time – it’s simply the best!

supposed to be the bomb for Hokkien Mee, even got the Michelin Bib Gourmand nod! But this time, my visit was a little lauya (disappointing). The taste wasn’t as bold as I remembered, like something was missing. Hopefully, it just a one time off..

The Pork Satay more shiok than the chicken version, hits the spot! The juicy pork chunks are perfectly grilled, with just the right amount of fat for extra sedap. Dip them in the peanut sauce – so good, confirm plus chop! They definitely don’t skimp on the portions either.

Shiok overload at this stall! Love their zi char, especially the minced meat with salted egg. Damn good paired with their fragrant chicken rice

Chicken rice so good, confirm Michelin-worthy! Been loving this stall for over 20 years, even before the fame. Lunch queue is crazy, but worth it. Super comforting soup, juicy chicken, and the uncle’s secret sauce – damn shiok! Prices still reasonable, my go-to comfort food!

Shiok Fried Carrot Cake! This carrot cake damn good! Kway (rice cakes) are soft and fried perfectly all the way through. Sauce is sweet and slightly charred, almost caramelized!

Chef Kang’s Wanton Mee shiok sia! Tucked away in an industrial canteen, this place serves up amazing wanton mee. The noodles are springy with that QQ bite, no weird taste, and drenched in a crazy good dark soy sauce. The char siew is melt-in-your-mouth juicy, wantons are packed with meat, and the soup is light and refreshing. Apparently, Chef Kang himself trained these young guys to cook it perfectly. Chef Kang’s Noodle House might be humble, but the food is damn good lah! Don’t skip it!
