Visited Tian Tian at Maxwell with my husband. After sampling both boiled and roasted chicken, my hubby and I preferred the tender boiled white chicken over the tougher roasted chicken. The savory sauce that drenched the chicken complemented the dish well, though on the salty side, it added an added dimension. The chicken rice was impeccably prepared. Despite consistent queues, the service was efficiently and quick, with seating near the shop filling up quickly but you’ll be able to find seat at the opposite side of Maxwell.
I rate TianTian: Food 4/5, Service 4/5, Atmosphere 4/5. Recommended: Chicken Rice =)
The Coconut Club has a very inviting modern decor with a local twist. Lots of coconut inspired dishes with star being the Nasi Lemak which I didn’t know they were famous for. The food and drinks are amazing and I had a great time with my family tasting quite a few local dishes. I highly recommend their coconut shake. Also don’t miss their Otak Otak, Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah, and Sambal Hae Bee Lady’s Fingers.
