If you’re visiting Singapore and want to experience a local favorite, Chin Chin Chicken Rice is a must-try! This stall might not look fancy, but it serves up some of the most delicious chicken rice you’ll find in the city.

The chicken is the star of the show. It’s incredibly juicy and tender, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The fragrant rice is perfectly seasoned, not too greasy or oily, and complements the chicken beautifully. They even have condiments like chili sauce and ginger paste on the table to customize your experience!

Their nasi lemak is some of the best I’ve had in Singapore. The rice is fragrant and perfectly cooked, the chicken is juicy and flavorful, and all the accompaniments like the sambal and ikan bilis come together perfectly.

For tasty bite in Singapore, 88 Hong Kong Roasted is a great option! They specialize in delicious roasted meats like char siew, roasted duck, and crispy pork belly. The meats are incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection – the char siew is especially amazing with its sweet and savory glaze. They have several locations around Singapore, so you’re likely to find one close by. Bonus tip: Be prepared for a short line at peak hours, but it moves quickly, and the food is worth the wait!

Jumbo Seafood was a highlight of my Singapore trip! The seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend trying their signature chili crab or black pepper crab. If you choose the Riverside Point location, you’ll also be treated to stunning views of the Singapore River. The staff were friendly and explained the menu options to me patiently. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but the experience is definitely worth it!
