Really good kueh with panfriend option. The fried ones are my favourite. The line gets long on weekends, but it moves fast. The skin’s just the right thickness, not too thin or thick. The turnip ones are alright. I usually buy 10-20 pieces at a time and wait about 10 minutes. Quality. Worthy of the bib gourmand.
Jian Bo Shui Kueh is my go-to for Chwee Kueh. The rice cakes are soft, and the preserved radish topping is super flavourful. Throw some chilli on top and you get a literal flavour bomb. Simple but so satisfying. Great for breakfast and the occasional crave. Always fresh and tasty.
Hidden gem. Very good bowl of cantonese braised beef brisket noodles in SG. The beef brisket is tasty and tender. The beef tendons are just as soft and nicely done. The flavourful gravy pairs amazing with the noodles.
Tai hwa bak chor mee has ONE FULL Michelin star. Expect a robust flavour and lots of “liao” and lots of queueing.
Cannot understate how 328 laksa gets their RICH laksa broth right. 5 stars.
928 Yishun. 5 stars. Top 3 laksa. Rich, creamy, coconut-y laksa.
Good mix of yong tau foo pieces here. The laksa is pretty good, just the right amount of spice and flavour. Standouts are the fried items. Must try.

It’s a good bowl of prawn noodles with an even better price to portion ratio (cheap). but don’t expect it to give you a flavour slap to the face.
Fresh handmade kuehs. Skin is very soft with a little bit of chewy texture. Very good chilli. Try: Soon Kueh and Suan pan zi (abacus).
