Upon arrival on the 70th floor, guests are welcomed through brass-framed glass doors into a hallway adorned with artworks by Australian artist Steven Cross, evoking the diverse landscapes that inspire Chef Westaway’s creations. The journey continues past fluted glass doors and up a staircase into a cozy space accented by architraves and mirrors, leading to a bar area where a curated welcome drink sets the tone for the dining experience.
The main dining room, seating 35, offers a panoramic view of Singapore’s skyline and coastline. Central to the space is a striking floor-to-ceiling light installation made from hand-blown Italian Murano Glass, reminiscent of resilient hawthorn trees. This installation, programmed to adjust lighting throughout the day, encapsulates the spirit of Chef Westaway’s adaptive and ambitious approach.
Furnishings, designed in collaboration with French company Pierre Frey and Bali-based Muebles Asia, feature organic curves inspired by natural landscapes. The room’s design, from seafoam blue banquettes to tree-branch style side tables, creates an intimate and inviting ambiance, enhancing the multi-sensory dining journey through Chef Westaway’s Devon-inspired culinary masterpieces.
