Actually still buay pai jiak. Standard dropped yes, but the char siew is still very shiok.

While the char siew is definitely a highlight, the roast duck is succulent too. The skin is crispy, and the meat is tender. Great for a quick and delicious meal.

This place has a real old-school charm. No frills, just good food. The roast meats are all delicious, and the portions are generous. A great spot for a casual lunch.

This place offers delicious roast meats with a smoky taste! They’re known for their juicy and flavorful char siew, especially the fatty cuts.

While flavors are generally good, quality can vary. Consider it for a casual, affordable roast meat fix.

This restaurant’s dark char siew remains a favorite! It’s definitely worth trying if you enjoy a good char siew with a smoky flavor.

Great cuts of meat! I’d read a bunch of reviews saying the quality had dropped and that there are better places out there, but I actually found it pretty good. The char siew was nicely “blackened,” juicy, and succulent. The portions are generous, with thick cuts of meat that aren’t flattened or thinly sliced like at many other spots. If you love glistening fats and don’t mind skipping the lean cuts, this place is for you. To me, it has the perfect balance and isn’t overly fatty.
