Stumbled upon Roast Paradise while exploring a hawker centre. This place is all about the roast meats! We shared a platter of char siew and roasted duck – both were really tasty. The char siew had a nice caramelized char, and the duck skin was super crispy. It’s not fancy, but the food is delicious and it’s a great way to experience Singaporean hawker culture. I wished there are more such food in the UK!

Wow, the char siew in this rice dish was incredible! It looked amazing – glistening, sticky, and with a perfect amount of char. The first bite hit me with a complex flavor profile: sweet, smoky, and with a hint of savory piquancy. But the best part was the texture. The char siew had a generous amount of marbled fat, making it incredibly juicy and rich. This is definitely a flavorful and satisfying char siew rice experience!
By the way, the old airport hawker is closed for renovation till end 2024?
