About
Tucked away on one of Singapore’s most charming streets, a unique dining spot has emerged, pioneering the fusion of Southern Indian and Korean cuisine. Born from the culinary vision of Michelin-starred Chefs Mano Thevar and Sun Kim, this casual restaurant is a testament to their lifelong friendship and shared cultural heritage. Tambi offers a delightful culinary journey that melds the bold, intricate flavors of Southern India with the savory, nuanced tastes of Korea. The ambiance is contemporary yet inviting, making it the perfect setting for a dining experience that celebrates the rich culinary traditions of both regions in a refreshingly modern context.

Their Korean-Indian fusion dishes are creative and often surprisingly delicious. The Tambi’s Maggie Goreng, a Korean twist on the classic Indian Maggi goreng, is a standout. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the unique menu items. The ambiance is casual and lively. While some dishes might not be for everyone, it’s a great place to explore new flavor combinations.

We tried this spot that blends Indian and Korean flavours in a unique way. Every dish impressed us from the presentation to the flavours and portions. The staff was really professional and attentive.
The food was amazing. The appetizers had a Korean influence, while the main courses leaned towards Indian flavours. Each dish was a delightful surprise, bursting with flavour and skillfully prepared. The beef tartare is outstanding! The Maggie goreng and Briyani were done in an interesting way, with familiar tastes. The service was top-notch; If you’re into innovative Asian flavours with a spicy kick, this spot is definitely worth checking out!
