This place lives up to its legendary status!!! Legendary Bak Kut Teh on South Bridge Road serves up some of the most flavorful peppery bak kut teh I’ve ever had. The broth is simmered for hours with Sarawak peppercorn, resulting in a rich and complex taste that hits all the right notes. The pork ribs are melt-in-your-mouth tender and come in a perfect portion. This is definitely a dish that warms you up from the inside out!

For those who prefer the less peppery version from Song Fa or Ng Ah Sio. Still good BKT nonetheless. 4/5

For those who love a strong pepper flavour, this stall is a great choice. The rich, savory broth pairs well with the tender meat, making it perfect for pepper Bak Kut Teh fans. Compared to Song Fa, the broth here is lighter but still has a lot of pepper kick. It’s a good alternative to the more touristy Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, offering a similar taste without the long wait. The air-conditioned setting adds to the comfort. The Bak Kut Teh and the clay pot ginger chicken are standout dishes.
