Be prepared to wait in line but the wait is legendary for a reason. The fried kway teow is cooked to order and arrives piping hot. The balance of flavors is fantastic – savory,smoky, and slightly sweet. The egg is cooked perfectly, adding a creamy richness to the dish.
I was really looking forward to trying the char siew here, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. It was a bit dry and lacked the caramelized sweetness I love. The roasted duck was decent, but nothing special.
If you can’t decide between char siew and roast pork, then go for the Triple Roast Platter! It allows you to experience the best of both worlds, love their fatty char siew.
