I think it’s decent. Nothing to shout about.

Stumbled upon a delicious roast meat stall while I was in the area. There was a line during lunch, which is always a good sign! The star of the show was definitely the char siew. It had a beautiful caramelized glaze, with a perfect balance of sweet and smoky flavors. The char on the edges added a nice touch, and the texture was sticky and slightly chewy.

The roasted pork and duck were no slouches either. The crispy skin on the pork was incredibly satisfying to bite into, and the duck was unbelievably tender and juicy.

This spot has quickly become a favorite! I’ve been there many times already, and it’s always a great experience. The food is simple but incredibly high quality – they focus on doing a few things really well.

It can get crowded, but the vibe is super chill. Plus, I love that they have communal tables, perfect for meeting new people or sharing a meal with a big group. Do note it’s not that cheap.

This place might just be a contender for the best chicken rice in Bishan! The chicken is incredibly tender and juicy, and the light sauce it sits on perfectly complements the flavor. There’s a subtle sweetness at the end that comes from the soy sauce, which ties everything together nicely.

Chatterbox is alright! The food itself is decent – especially the chicken rice, which lived up to the hype. It was tasty and well-cooked, on par with other good chicken rice spots in Singapore. But for the price tag, I was hoping for something a little more mind-blowing.

The presentation was on point, though! All the dishes looked super pretty. Service could use some work – seemed like some of the staff were still learning the ropes, which made things a bit slow at times.

The restaurant itself has a nice vibe, and the fancy plating definitely adds to the experience. Overall, it was a decent meal, but I’m not sure I’d rush back for the chicken rice considering the price. If you’re looking for a good sit-down meal with a nice atmosphere, Chatterbox is worth a try, but be prepared to pay a premium.

The chicken rice here is decent. The rice can be a bit inconsistent in terms of fragrance. The chicken itself is good, and their chili sauce is definitely spicy. There might be better options out there, but it’s a quick and easy meal.

This stall serves some of the most fragrant chicken rice I’ve had in Singapore. The chicken itself is delicious, and their chili sauce packs a punch (be warned, it’s spicy!). Expect a short wait during peak hours, usually around 5-15 minutes. Totally worth it!

Just went back to BTK after a while, and their chicken is still amazing! Super juicy and flavorful, just like I remember. There might be a bit of a line, but the wait is worth it for the delicious food.

This place is also a cool option to bring visitors from out of town. The atmosphere is casual, and the food (especially the chicken rice) is something unique to Singapore. They’ll definitely enjoy it! Just FYI, it’s the Balestier branch

Path Restaurant was incredible! From the moment we walked in, the whole place felt super swanky – perfect for a fancy night out.

But the real star of the show? The FOOD! It wasn’t just delicious, it was like an experience. Each dish had this cool story behind it, and everything looked amazing – like little works of art on a plate.

The flavors were on point, too. Every bite was an explosion of taste, beautiful plating.

But what really made our night special was the service. The staff were super knowledgeable about the menu and genuinely wanted us to have the best time possible. They weren’t stuffy or snobby, just friendly and helpful.

Overall, Path Restaurant was a total win. Great food, awesome vibes, and fantastic service – definitely check it out if you’re looking for a special occasion spot!

Matera at The Fullerton Waterboat House is my new go-to for date night! Seriously, the view is INSANE – like the perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner. But it’s not just the view that will wow you. The food is crazy good. They take classic dishes and turn them up a notch with bold Asian flavors.

Basically, Matera is a total win for date night. Great food, incredible view.
