Ah Boy Chicken Rice is a decent option for a quick and satisfying chicken rice fix. The roasted chicken could be improved, but the steamed chicken and fragrant rice are good. Just be prepared for a potential wait if you decide to check it out.

Ah Boy Chicken Rice. Confirm good plate of chicken rice in the west. Rice is fragrant and tasty. Chicken is tender. Chilli is quality. Can’t go wrong.

Been to Ah Boy Chicken Rice a few times – always impressed! The rice is fragrant, flavorful, and perfectly moist (not greasy). I usually go for the breast meat, and it’s consistently tender. Today’s soup with chicken feet was a winner. Everything else hits the spot!

Rice quality is a hit or miss. Sometimes mushy sometimes perfect but ah boy’s chicken rice is cheap and if you factor that in, I think this is definitely a good plate of chicken rice. fragrant and not too oily. generous servings of chicken, and lots of vegetables.
