Ah Er Soup 阿2老火湯, located in the popular ABC Brickworks Market & Food Centre just off Ikea Alexandra, is known for its traditional herbal soups. This humble hawker stall, established in 2012 by Guilin natives Chen Hua Qiang and Qu Fa Di, rose to fame with its inclusion in the Michelin Bib Gourmand Singapore 2017. Offering eight varieties of MSG-free, long-boiled soups served with pumpkin rice, Ah Er Soup attracts long queues, especially at lunchtime.
