Widely recognised for serving up one of the best Hainanese chicken rice in Singapore, Chin Chin adheres to traditional Hainanese techniques, poaching the whole chicken at sub-boiling temperatures. The resulting stock is meticulously skimmed, with its fat, combined with ginger, garlic, and pandan leaves, used to craft the signature “oily” but flavourful rice. Chin Chin Chicken Rice brought back fond memories of childhood. The flavors are authentic and comforting. The chicken was tender, and the rice was fragrant with chicken oil!

Chin Chin goes beyond just chicken rice, and that’s what I love! While their steamed chicken is solid, I always get adventurous with their other dishes. The fried pork chops are a must-order – crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with a sweet and tangy sauce that’s addictive.

If you’re visiting Singapore and want to experience a local favorite, Chin Chin Chicken Rice is a must-try! This stall might not look fancy, but it serves up some of the most delicious chicken rice you’ll find in the city.
The chicken is the star of the show. It’s incredibly juicy and tender, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The fragrant rice is perfectly seasoned, not too greasy or oily, and complements the chicken beautifully. They even have condiments like chili sauce and ginger paste on the table to customize your experience!

Used to work at Beach centre, and this was just 20 steps away literally. Didn’t know chin chin was a top 10er but I guess that explains why I thought they had pretty good chicken rice everytime I ate there. Thumbs up!
