  • Most local will dine here, not so touristy spot compare to the other. Get their braised trotter, braised till so soft and delicious.shiok.

  • This place does Teochew-style bak kut teh right! The peppery broth is flavorful and comforting, with a subtle garlicky aroma. The prime ribs are tender and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

  • Wandering around Jurong today and stumbled upon this BKT stall that seemed like a local favorite. They do the classic stuff – a clear, peppery soup that had a real kick to it. Just the way I like it! The braised pork belly, just $7 is a surprisingly large portion – super tender pork belly! Especially the fatty cuts, those were incredible. And if you’re like me and crave a little extra soup, they have this self-service station with jugs of hot BKT broth you can top up yourself.

It’s a coffeeshop setting, so it’s not fancy, but that’s part of the charm! This place is all about the delicious and affordable BKT.

  • Their broth is on the spicier side, perfect for those who like a bit of heat. Just be prepared for a runny nose! Slurpy!!

  • Joo Siah’s Bak Kut Teh is the real deal in the west side! Their peppery Teochew-style soup is incredibly flavourful – rich, peppery, and a real internal warm-up. The pork ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, with incredible flavour.

  • Avoid peak lunch and dinner hours if you’re not a fan of crowds, as seating can be limited. The ordering process is easy – order and pay first, then your delicious food gets delivered to your table. Speaking of delicious, the braised meat is a must-try! Packed with flavor, and the refillable soup is a comforting bonus.

  • Joo Siah Bak Kut Teh might be known for their bak kut teh, but don’t miss out on their other hidden gems! Their braised pig’s trotters are a must-try – incredibly flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The you tiao (fried dough sticks) are perfectly crispy and light, the ideal accompaniment to any of their dishes. The service is friendly and attentive. While the space is small and casual, it’s clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend for a delicious and satisfying bak kut teh!

  • This popular bak kut teh stall in a coffee shop lives up to its reputation! Ordering is a breeze – just tell them your table number and they’ll deliver the food straight to you.

Their BKT soup is a must-try. The braised pork leg is a crowd-pleaser too, melt-in-your-mouth tender and bursting with flavor. Both pair beautifully with a simple bowl of white rice for a classic Singaporean comfort food experience.

  • legit nice bakuteh in singapore. Worth the bib gourmand. It’s in the mid west of singapore so unless you’re on a food adventure, I think I would stick to the known good bkt places near me.

  • Joo Siah is housed inside a new cleanish~ coffee shop, it can get crowded so be forewarned, you might not be able to get a table if you go during peak. The food is really good tho, 100% deserving of the bib gourmand award. The soup is robust and peppery, great since I have a preference for stronger tasting food. Other Bak Kut Teh complements like the braised pork trotters and braised pork is good too.. so soft they melt in your mouth. 5/5
