This Malaysian-style nasi lemak offers a decent and budget-friendly option. While it doesn’t quite measure up to the gourmet version at The Coconut Club, which uses bougie ingredients like cold-pressed coconut milk, it’s still a solid choice through and through. The generously-sized Aromatic Chicken set delivers good value, even if the rice could be a bit richer. Sambal is sweet and complements the Nasi Lemak very well. For those seeking an even more affordable option, there’s a $3.50 breakfast set featuring a smaller chicken wing. ...

My go-to for a quick and satisfying nasi lemak fix. The fragrant rice, crispy chicken, and fiery sambal are a good combo!!

Spicy Wife lives up to its name! Their nasi lemak boasts a generous portion of Malaysian style fried, crispy chicken. The fragrant coconut rice is delicious on its own, and the sambal adds a delightful fiery kick. A must-try if you’re in the vicinity!

Don’t be fooled by the basic hawker center setting at Spicy Wife.Their nasi lemak is anything but ordinary! The coconut rice is bursting with flavor, the chicken is crispy and juicy, and the sambal packs a spicy punch. A great choice for a delicious and affordable meal.

This chicken rice hits all the right notes! The aromatic chicken was super shiok – crispy skin, juicy meat, and packed with flavor. There was a bit of a queue around lunchtime, but it moved fast, so no worries!

This spot offers some of the best Malaysian-style nasi lemak I’ve had in Singapore, especially their aromatic chicken. The chicken is a real highlight – a generous portion, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. It’s definitely a great value for money.

Solid plate of Malaysian style Nasi Lemak. Great chicken, big, aromatic and juicy. Rice is fragrant. I’d prefer they add a kick or two into their chilli. Be forewarned. There is always a queue during weekday lunch.
