About
The Coconut Club on Beach Road is a popular restaurant famous for its exceptional Nasi Lemak and authentic Singaporean cuisine. They use high-quality ingredients, especially rich and creamy coconut milk. Sia, the owner, says the secret to perfect Nasi Lemak is the coconut milk. Since opening, The Coconut Club has focused on this key ingredient for its unique taste. They source coconuts from a family-owned plantation and press their own coconut milk, tasting and testing each batch before adding it to the rice. Sia explains they blend different types of coconuts—some with more fat, others naturally sweeter—to create a unique aroma and flavour.

Their signature nasi lemak is fantastic, the rice so fragrant and fluffy it could be a dish on its own. Really love the Ayam Goreng Berempah. The crispy fried chicken, bursting with spices and served with tangy sambal and creamy sambal hijau, was finger-licking good!

This place is a celebration of coconut in all its glory! The nasi lemak is a must-try, but their other coconut milk-based dishes are equally delicious. I highly recommend the refreshing cendol for dessert!

The nasi lemak is fantastic at The Coconut Club, but their menu has so much more to offer. Great for a group sharing meal!! Hojiak!!

This nasi lemak hits all the right notes. The coconut rice is incredibly fragrant! Would give 5 if not for the price.

The Coconut Club might be pricier than your average nasi lemak stall, but the quality is undeniable. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and the service is fantastic.

Finally tried The Coconut Club’s nasi lemak and it lived up to the hype! The fragrant coconut rice was the star, but the real showstopper was the ayam goreng berempah – perfectly spiced and incredibly juicy fried chicken. Don’t forget the sambal – it packs a punch but adds amazing flavor!

The Coconut Club has a great atmosphere – casual and inviting. But the food is anything but ordinary. Their nasi lemak is a fantastic take on the classic dish, with fragrant rice, flavourful sambal, and perfectly cooked protein options. Loved it!

Their nasi lemak is some of the best I’ve had in Singapore. The rice is fragrant and perfectly cooked, the chicken is juicy and flavorful, and all the accompaniments like the sambal and ikan bilis come together perfectly.

Highly recommended. Aromatic coconut rice and best fried chicken.

Work lunch brought me to The Coconut Club, and it was a delightful surprise! The upstairs area offered a casual vibe, perfect for a relaxed chat with colleagues. We dove headfirst into the coconut theme – the shake was refreshing, the young coconut a fun drink, and the coconut rice beautifully presented and delicious. The food overall was fantastic, a true celebration of the coconut! Highly recommend for a casual and tasty experience.

This spot has quickly become a favorite! I’ve been there many times already, and it’s always a great experience. The food is simple but incredibly high quality – they focus on doing a few things really well.
It can get crowded, but the vibe is super chill. Plus, I love that they have communal tables, perfect for meeting new people or sharing a meal with a big group. Do note it’s not that cheap.

Living up to its 2024 MICHELIN Bib Gourmand recognition, The Coconut Club offers a delicious and affordable nasi lemak experience. Their signature dish features succulent, crispy fried chicken alongside a perfectly fried egg, ikan bilis (anchovies), and a balanced sambal chili.
The star of the show is arguably the coconut-infused rice. It’s moist and perfectly textured, harmoniously blending with the other ingredients for a satisfying and authentic nasi lemak experience.

Had brunch at the new location, and it turned out to be quite enjoyable. Each of us opted for the Nasi Lemak (Ayam Goreng Berempah), featuring organic chicken that was crispy outside and juicy inside – absolutely delicious. We also tried their recommended dishes like Satay and Rendang, and the kueh sampler was a delightful warm treat. 5/5

The Coconut Club has a very inviting modern decor with a local twist. Lots of coconut inspired dishes with star being the Nasi Lemak which I didn’t know they were famous for. The food and drinks are amazing and I had a great time with my family tasting quite a few local dishes. I highly recommend their coconut shake. Also don’t miss their Otak Otak, Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah, and Sambal Hae Bee Lady’s Fingers.
I rate the coconut club: Food 5/5, Service 5/5, Atmosphere 5/5.

What I like about the coconut club is that it is not just a nasi lemak stall but a proper restaurant serving a choice of other well crafted options. It is a great place for a group gathering! Bring a bunch of people and go try every single one of their dishes and desserts. The food here is good.

Excellent Nasi lemak. Succulent, crispy fried chicken paired with fried egg, ikan bilis, and sambal chili. The ikan bilis offers a satisfying crunch, while the sambal chili boasts balanced flavor. The coconut-infused rice is moist and perfectly textured, blending harmoniously with the other ingredients for a superb nasi lemak experience. Additionally, other menu items like Otak, Sambal fish, and Clams are equally delicious. Capped off the meal with their specialty dessert, chendol, for a delightful *chef kiss. Must visit for nasi lemak lovers. Avoid peak hours!

Enjoyed a delightful evening at coconut club with my family. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance was nice. We had the Gohu Ikan, which was an amazing blend of flavors and textures. The grilled squid, grilled to perfection. The percik kambing and ayam goreng berempah, which had rich flavor and generous portions. Fragrant nasi lemak with multiple refills. We ended the meal with chendol as dessert, which was deliciously sweet. Our overall experience was exceptional, Will come back.

100% must try for those new to Singapore. Proper trendy restaurant pricing but you get the quality + ambience. They have a varied menu of local Singaporean favourites so knock yourself out!
Thumbs up for the Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah & rendang!

Good to great nasi lemak with the usual everything: fried egg, ikan bilis, peanuts, cucumber, fried chicken, and sambal. Coconut is sourced from Sabak Bernam, Malaysia, making it very good or somewhat exotic lol. But, rice need more lemak, it not enough. The chicken is tasty, they marinate it with turmeric, lemongrass, and cumin before frying. It very juicy and tender, not like other stalls and the turmeric taste is very south east asian, which I like. The sambal not sweet like usual, it a bit tangy and have lots of onions. If my friend come from far away and I don’t want to go far, I bring them here.

Finally tried this famous Nasi Lemak. Some people say a “good” sambal depends on what you like. Some like it spicy, others like a tangy savory version. I haven’t tried many sambals, but Coconut Club’s sambal is impressive. It’s spicy but not too much. When you eat it with the rice, the coconut sweetness balances out the spice. The fried chicken is also great, with crispy fried ginger adding extra flavor and crunch.

The Nasi Lemak flavours are on point, without the coconut taking over. The rice was fluffy with just the right hint of coconut and “lemak.” I think the sambal good balance between spice and flavor. Chicken was juicy and succulent, literally with the Rempah giving you a kick of taste. Solid. Good nasi lemak.

Came here for the nasi lemak. Very fragrant rice and the ayam goreng berempah was juicy and spiced to the heavens. They aren’t just spot for just nasi lemak. Do try the Gohu Ikan, Iga Bakar, Percik Kambing, Sambal Sotong, Spicy Banana Leaf Stingray, Homemade Otah, and Sate Ayam Bumbu Kacang.
