Happened to be at this area, i tried the Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng Berempah. The fried chicken was incredibly crispy and flavorful, but the coconut rice itself was a bit subtle for my taste. I would have preferred a stronger coconut fragrance. The sambal had a good kick, though!

I can see why it’s popular. The Nasi Lemak with beef rendang was delicious. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the rendang sauce was rich and slightly spicy. The rice was decent, and the overall portion size was good.

While the ayam goreng is the star, don’t overlook the curry kapitan chicken set too. The chicken is tender and flavorful, and the curry sauce is rich and aromatic. Delicious plate of nasi lemak!!!

Uptown Nasi Lemak offers a delicious take on Malaysian nasi lemak. Their ayam goreng berempah is a real highlight – perfectly marinated, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The coconut rice itself was fragrant but some might find it a bit subtle. The portion size is generous and the sides like achar and ikan bilis complement the dish well. Overall, a great option for those looking for a satisfying and authentic nasi lemak experience!

Lemak Upgrade, Still Sedap!
Uptown Nasi Lemak serves up nasi lemak that’s familiar but fancy. Think fragrant coconut rice, crispy ikan bilis, and perfectly cooked egg – all the good stuff. But they also have gourmet sambals and different protein options to keep things interesting. Want classic? No problem. Want to try something new? They got you covered! The place is casual and comfortable, perfect for a delicious nasi lemak fix. Must-try!

A Taste of KL in Singapore! Uptown Nasi Lemak, a name synonymous with Kuala Lumpur’s nasi lemak scene, brings its unique take to Singapore. This instantly translates to a slightly different nasi lemak experience than what we’re accustomed to here. A snaking queue around the stall signaled the wait ahead, but the anticipation only grew as I witnessed the star of the show: the Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng Berempah. When a perfectly golden fried chicken leg like this one sits majestically atop a bed of fragrant coconut milk rice, it’s hard to resist diving right in. And let me tell you, the chicken lives up to its appearance – truly delicious!

This popular stall is a lunchtime favorite! Be prepared for a line during peak hours, but trust us, it’s worth the wait. Their cuttlefish nasi lemak is a real crowd-pleaser – a unique dish you don’t see everywhere in Singapore. The flavorful sauce is perfectly balanced, offering a delightful taste of Malaysian nasi lemak. And let’s not forget the fried chicken – it’s incredibly tender and juicy, the perfect complement to the flavorful rice.

I swung by just past 1pm recently, lucked out with no queue, office crowd had left, but they were almost out of everything. Good thing they still had a couple of Ayam Berempah. And wow, what a great choice! The chicken skin was perfectly crispy and delicious, while the meat was incredibly tender. The sambal was on point too, although I prefer it spicier than the usual sweet style for nasi lemak. it’s worth every penny!

Village park style. Uptown serves great nasi lemak and pretty popular. Rice is fragrant, the sambal is medium spicy, ayam rempah is delicious, large and crispy but tender inside. Generous portions. Must try if nearby but everytime I pass this place, they are closed. must be too popular.

Very good Nasi lemak in downtown CBD. Generous portions. Rice could be more fragrant for me to give 5 stars. Berempah was very good but could add a dimension of two. This is a good plate of lemak. Be sure to give them a hit.
