Estate Buffet Review – Truffle Roasted Ducks & Rainbow Desserts

After taking over Triple Three, Estate Buffet at Hilton Orchard is now one of the top spreads of Singapore’s buffet scene. Here’s what to expect.

Inspired by Orchard Road’s early days and tucked inside the Hilton Hotel Orchard, Estate Buffet is an all-day dining buffet that’s a favourite in Singapore—even with the locals. What’s the draw? Well, besides the massive spread, you’ve got fancy-pants cooked to order dishes like Slow-Roasted Tomahawk, Pan-Seared Foie Gras, Baby Abalone with Tofu, and even Black Truffle Roasted Duck, all good enough to be served in a Michelin starred restaurant, and all free flow.

Estate is one of three dining spots at the new Hilton Orchard, offering a modern twist on the classic buffet. The restaurant draws inspiration from Orchard Road’s history, back when the area was full of spice plantations, fruit trees, and flower nurseries.

The interior mixes old-school colonial vibes with a contemporary flair—think colonnades, wooden shutters, and rattan details that remind you of a bygone era.

The vibrant botanical paintings and wallpaper give a nod to ingredients like chilli, nutmeg, and cocoa, farmed back in the day.

With comfy, mid-century-inspired furniture and open kitchens that make you feel like you’re dining at a friend’s place, Estate serves up a slice of the past in a fresh, modern setting with a menu that’s all about artisanal, locally-sourced goodness.

THE FOOD

Estate Buffet Oysters

Estate Buffet Oysters

The seafood station is probably the main attraction here. They’ve got a decent spread with Tiger Prawns, Black Mussels, Clams, Scallops, and Yabbies, all sitting on ice.

Estate Buffet Crab

If you’re feeling particularly shellfish, there’s also a steady supply of crabs, lobsters, and other seafood options like Singapore Chili Crab, Creamy Salted Egg Yolk Slipper Lobster, and some freshly barbecued Maine Lobsters and Mud Crabs. It’s an all-you-can-eat buffet, so you can take your time.

Estate Buffet Signature Black Truffle Roasted Duck

Beyond the seafood, the buffet has a variety of other tempting dishes. I really enjoyed the Signature Estate’s Black Truffle Roasted Duck—it’s rich and savoury with that unmistakable truffle flavour that’s hard to resist.

The truffle duck was served 2 slices per with a dab of truffle hoisin sauce. No idea if they just used truffle oil or actual truffles, but its good. A must try if you’re visiting Estate.

Estate Buffet Roasted Lamb

For those who love meat, the Whole Roasted Lamb was a standout.

Served alongside warm tortilla wraps, the lamb meat was tender, juicy and accompanied by fresh kachumber salad, and a zesty, spicy mint sauce that added a nice kick.

Estate Buffet Wagyu Noodles

The Cantonese-Style Wagyu Beef Handmade Noodles were also worth a mention. The broth was rich and savoury, and the Wagyu beef was melt-in-your-mouth. The noodles soaked up all that goodness, making each bite a delight, as cliche as that sounds.

Estate Buffet Rendang

Regional delicacies like rendang are all done exceptionally well.

Estate Buffet Dimsum

As is the selection of dim sum you can get your grubby hands on.

Estate Buffet Dessert

Estate Buffet Dessert

Estate Restaurant’s dessert spread is a sugar lover’s dream. They’ve got desserts served in charming little jars, probably to keep us from going full sugar overload. But I wasn’t complaining, especially with the rich chocolate tarts, creamy cheesecakes, and fruit tarts that looked like they were made by a color wizard. The live dessert station was a highlight, letting me whip up my own waffles and crêpes with all the toppings I wanted. By the end, I seriously questioned if I could fit in another bite—but, of course, I found room for just one more.

Estate Buffet Review

The Estate Buffet at Hilton Singapore Orchard is a real spread. The place looks fantastic, and the service is top. They’ve got a huge variety of dishes that make it stand out among Singapore’s best buffets. I really enjoyed the Signature Estate’s Black Truffle Roasted Duck and the Slow-Roasted Tomahawk, plus the Pan-Seared Foie Gras was nice. The seafood selection was fresh, and the skewer station added some extra flavour with its grilled options. Sure, it’s on the pricier side, but the quality and the experience definitely made it worth a try.

  1. Had the buffet brunch at Estate Ouais, 100% worth it. Service was impeccable. Big shoutout to the whole crew for making it top. The Indian section was Incroyable. Seafood, cheese, meats, roast, dim sum everything was great ah. Desserts? Oui, s’il vous plaît. And the champagne? Billecart-Salmon, plus more. Not a single complaint. If you’re into brunch, this is the spot.

  2. Estate buffet was hands down the best buffet I’ve ever had! Every dish was delicious and totally worth the price. A special shoutout to the staff member, Dedicus, who made our birthday celebration extra special by arranging a complimentary cake for my friend. We really enjoyed the fantastic spread of international cuisine, including fresh and grilled seafood, lamb, prime rib, and indulgent desserts. It was an outstanding birthday celebration, and I will definitely be back for more!
