Wah this chicken rice damn good! Shiok sia! Saw someone online say this place got one of the best chicken rice in Singapore, so me and my makan kaki had to come try lor. Ordered the half steamed chicken and confirm plus chop no regrets! Chicken damn moist and tender, even the breast sian! Must-try for sure, confirm won’t disappoint lah!
This roast meat stall used to be the champion of this kopitiam! Back then, many stalls closed down, but they kept the whole place going with their sibeh good food. The queue was always snaking! Now they got a few other branches – hope the standard haven’t drop!
This CKT was kinda meh, honestly. Even my grandma can probably cook a tastier one! The kway teow itself was okay, but the sauce lacked power.. Needed more oomph to really shiok!
Shiok curry noodles!!! The curry is not too spicy but still has a nice kick. The chicken is juicy and the noodles are yummy soaking in the lemak broth!
Wah! This stall has won me over with their incredible char siu! They offer beautifully charred options alongside roast pork and roast chicken. A big plus: they ask your preference for fatty, medium-fatty, or lean char siu. This is fantastic for those who (unlike me!) prefer a less fatty cut.
For me, the fatty char siu is pure heaven! It melts in your mouth and explodes with flavor. Highly recommend!
This duck rice stall has been a long-time favorite of mine, and for good reason! Be prepared to wait in line, as it’s a testament to their popularity over the years. The wait is definitely worth it, though! The duck is incredibly tender and pairs perfectly with their signature chili sauce. Don’t miss it!
