Be prepared to wait in line, but it’s worth it for the delicious roast meats. The char siew is fantastic, but the siew yoke is equally good.
Don’t let the industrial location fool you! Lai Fa Bar has a surprisingly cozy ambiance. The retro décor gives it a bit of a nostalgic charm, perfect for a casual meal. The food at Lai Fa Bar is tasty, but the prices are a bit higher than what you’d find at a hawker center. For the price point, the portions could be a tad bigger.
Sadly, it used to be famous and people still will queue despite the price. Now, the standard dropped yet it’s still as expensive.
