At Anglo Indian Café & Bar, nestled in the heart of the CBD (One Shenton), the signature chicken tikka masala is a perennial favorite among patrons. The restaurant, with its understated decor, seats just 20 inside but boasts a spacious outdoor terrace that draws crowds eager for well-priced, authentic Indian cuisine. During a recent visit, the chicken tikka masala and Indian railway mutton curry stood out. The tikka masala, perfectly cooked, featured a tomato puree so delicious it could be enjoyed on its own. The mutton curry, the café’s signature dish, was flavourful and satisfying. The garlic naan was good, but the cheese naan was exceptional, prompting a second order.
