This Penang Char Kway Teow was absolutely worth the trip! For just $5, the plate was overflowing with goodness. Juicy prawns, perfectly cooked al dente bean sprouts, a touch of smoky char from the Chinese sausage, and a sprinkle of fresh spring onions and egg all came together in a symphony of savory flavors.

Jason’s Penang char kway teow is a can-try. Authentic Penang taste. The $4 portion I got was generous, loaded with prawns. Not overly greasy. The $5 plate offers even more prawns, taugeh, slightly charred chinese sausage, spring onions, and egg. Pretty satisfying.
