Craving some Michelin-approved roast meats? Look no further than Zhen Zhu Fang Roasted Delights (珍珠坊香港燒臘) at People’s Park Food Centre! This stall has been a local favorite for years, consistently recognized by the Michelin Guide with a Michelin Plate.
Their char siew is a must-try. Each slice boasts a beautiful caramelized char, adding a delightful textural contrast and a hint of smoky bitterness. The meat itself is perfectly balanced, with a nice layer of fat that melts in your mouth. The marinade is sweet without being overpowering, allowing the natural flavor of the pork to shine through. Don’t forget to add a dollop of their chili sauce for an extra kick of tang and spice – it’s the perfect complement to the rich flavors of the char siew!

Not bad, can eat.

Zhen Zhu Fang is a must-visit. Their meats are consistently juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions are generous, and the prices are fair. I highly recommend the roast duck and the char siew.

The char siew at Zhen Zhu Fang was delicious – flavorful and with a nice balance of sweet and savory. The roasted duck was decent, with crispy skin but the meat was a bit on the dry side. However, the white rice they serve was a bit disappointing – a bit bland and mushy. Portions are generous for the price.

This char siew stall is a hidden gem! Get there by 11 am to beat the queue (it’s a local favorite!). The char siew is absolutely delicious – juicy, flavorful, and a true delight.

This long-standing stall remains a popular choice, and for good reason. I recently revisited for a late breakfast and tried their Wantan Noodles again.
As always, I was impressed by the roasted meats, especially the char siew. It continues to be perfectly tender and moist, with a delicious balance of sweet and savory flavors. The only minor downside was that the portion of roasted meat seemed a bit smaller than I remember.
